Lincoln Village Neighborhood Street Rehabilitation Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The City of Rancho Cordova plans to rehabilitate streets within the neighborhood to extend pavement life, improve rideability, and repair aging infrastructure. Construction is anticipated to begin in Summer 2027. This project has the potential to be divided into multiple construction phases.

Before and After Image of Pavement Conditions and Restriping

Pavement and Restriping

Depending on the existing condition, this project will perform either pavement maintenance or rehabilitation activities on each street to improve the surface of the roadways. After the pavement treatment is installed, new thermoplastic striping will be installed to replace the existing pavement markings that are fading.

ADA Compliant Curb Ramps

As part of this project, the city will be upgrading Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) curb ramps to current standards. In select locations, ADA ramps will be constructed where none currently exist to improve accessibility throughout the neighborhood.

Drainage Improvements

This project includes various storm drain improvements to extend the lifespan of the pavement and increase stormwater conveyance. Upgrades include increasing undersized drainage inlets, correct surface ponding, and replacing undersized storm drain pipes.
